Ramey Kemp has extensive transportation engineering experience with a primary emphasis in traffic studies and roadway design. After graduating from North Carolina State University and earning his Master of Civil Engineering degree, Ramey began his career as a design/project engineer with NCDOT. He spent several years with large transportation consulting firms prior to founding Ramey Kemp & Associates, Inc. in 1992. Ramey currently focuses on providing transportation engineering consulting services and advice to the development community. When Ramey is not working, you can find him spending time with his family and friends, golfing and attending NCSU football games.

Jay Clapp has over 25 years of transportation engineering experience. He has extensive knowledge of various traffic studies including commercial retail/office, industrial/manufacturing, residential, and mixed-use developments. Jay began his career as an access review engineer with NCDOT. He was a congestion management engineer with the City of Greensboro prior to joining Ramey Kemp & Associates, Inc. in 1999. Jay currently focuses on providing transportation engineering consulting services to the development community. Jay is a graduate of North Carolina State University, and in his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, and watching his beloved Wolfpack play.

With over 12 years of transportation engineering experience, Chase Smith provides project management and transportation engineering consulting services to various sectors of the development community, including commercial retail/office, industrial/manufacturing, residential, and mixed-use developments. A graduate of North Carolina State University, he spent two summers working as an Engineering Intern for NCDOT prior to joining Ramey Kemp & Associates, Inc. in 2013. In his free time Chase enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and attending various sporting events.
